Mycenae is a treasure trove. It is a hilltop fortress which was once the capital of powerful Mycenaean and is enclosed by Cyclopean Walls. Golden treasures, like the ‘Mask of Agamemnon', was located here.
If you are interested in sports you can see the race track in Olympia, birthplace of the Olympics. Museum of the Olympic Games is situated very close to the tracks.
The beautiful towns of Oia and Thira, are constructed on a cliff created by a volcanic eruption about 1600 BC, overlooking the caldera in Santorini.
