The United States of America also referred to as USA or the United States is a federal constitutional republic composed of fifty states and a governing federal district. The forty-eight contiguous states and Federal District of the USA are located on the North American continent between Canada and Mexico and bordered to the East and West by the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans respectively. It’s two other States Alaska located in the extreme Northwest of the North American continent, and the islands of Hawaii which is located in the central Pacific. The capital city of the USA is Washington DC located in the federal district of Columbia.
The total population of the United States is at 311 million people including immigrants of various races. English is the USA’s national language. The United States is supported by a mixed capitalist economy whose products and exports continue to shape the world. The USA also has worldwide political and military influence.
The USA is home to many world-famous landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty in the state of New York, the Grand Canyon in the state of Arizona and Mt. Rushmore in the state of South Dakota with popular entertainment centers like Hollywood in the state of California and Las Vegas in the state of Nevada.
The middle US states will experience very sunny weather due to several high pressure systems. The West Coast and the southern states however will be having cooler weather because of several low-pressure systems.
